File this one under: how not to introduce your son to sex. Recently, a man in the U.K. asked a prostitute to take his 14 year old son’s virginity. One small problem - the hooker turned out to be an undercover cop and the father was arrested. Oops.

The incident occurred last year in Notthingham’s red light district where the man, a Polish national, allowed his son to pick out a hooker from the group of women standing at the side of the road. After propositioning the prostitute and negotiating the fee down from 25 pounds to 20 pounds (about $30 US), the wayward dad was arrested by plainclothes officers.

Last Friday, the father was handed a 10 month prison sentence, suspended for one year. The judge said he wasn’t sending the dad, who was unnamed, to jail because he believed he meant no harm to his son. While dad is escaping jail, he does have to sign on to the sex offenders register for five years. Let’s also hope the father has saved up some money for his son’s future psychotherapy bills.

Isn't that what Hiuh School and best friends are for? Would you want your dad to this for you?

The red light district in Nottingham was set up in place to ensure that street workers were safer, it is patrolled by police, so obviously this dad either didn't realise or thought they weren't watched that closely.

What parent wants their kid to lose their virginity to a hooker, let alone at age 14!?
Maybe Dad shouldn't be in jail, but he needs some help himself, that just isn't right.

I'm sorry but anybody who lets their son loose their virginity at 14 (safely or not safely) to a prostitute surely doesn't look out for his 'best interests'.
This man should be locked up and maybe shouldn't see his son if I'm brutally honest.
Poor kid!!

This is sad. While I think the judge is right; and the father doesn't mean any harm to his son, it's wrong. He was wrong for trying to encourage his son to lose his virginity to a prostitute.
