I hope to God that President Obama doesn't kick him out the service just for this incident. At least he stood next to his fellow soldiers and fought. He shouldn't worry about that.

That's funny. He was asleep and at least he got his armor on. You have to do what you have to do sometimes.

The only thing I can really see happening to him, is he may get paperwork. While in a deployed location, we're not allowed civilian clothes. PJs included. We're authorized PT gear and utility uniform. It's common for soldiers, marines, etc to bring civilian clothes, though you're technically NOT allowed to wear them. There are exceptions to this, but his case is not an exception. I highly, highly doubt he'll be kicked out, though.

That's pretty sad though. He is risking his life for our country and doing his job. The military is really going to give him some type of punishment for it? That is sad, really sad!

Odds are, he can appeal the paperwork, and all will be well. I've heard about a soldier who was injured in battle. When they took his shirt off, they noticed he had nipple rings (which is not allowed in the Army). He got a purple heart and an Article 15 in the same day. Lol. He was able to appeal the Article 15, though, and wasn't punished. Also, he may get a company level LOR or Article 15, and neither one would be carried to his next base. It's the field grade Article 15 that he'd have to worry about. That's the extent of my knowledge of Army punishment...I just learned about it the other night, lol.
