title here
I survived the wedding...barely :/ haha I felt like a fat blob the whole weekend as well...I'm sure that did not help at all.

The trip to Vermont was not bad. It felt like we were there in no time. I drove a little on the way there. When I drive at night, I get tired. I had Mark take over for me afterwards. The drive up to the hotel was a bit crazy because we had to drive up a mountain pretty much. I'm glad Mark drove we arrived pretty late and went to bed super late. I slept alright the first night. I usually get 0 sleep in a hotel.

We lounged for most of the morning until we had to get ready for the wedding. It did not take us very long, which was nice. On the way there, the GPS brought us some ridiculous way to the wedding. It wanted us to go down this sketchy four wheeling trail. Obviously we did not go that way, haha. When we turned around, the GPS brought us in the right direction afterwards. A lot of people at the wedding had the same problem as we did. I'm glad we were not alone we thought we were going to be late to the wedding, but they started 10-15 minutes after we arrived. Mark and I were pretty happy about that.

The wedding was on a "lake". It was more of a pond to me. The lake I live on was 3x the size of the lake the ceremony took place. It was cute though. Not a lot of people were there. I honestly think there were more people at the reception than the ceremony. It was probably because people got lost on the way there like we did haha. The reception was nice, but the food was terrible and they did not serve any alcohol. They had pizza and salad for their dinner. By the time our table was called, the pizza was ice cold and gross and there was no salad left. I honestly wanted to have a couple of drinks to just relax. I did not know anyone at the wedding, so I was nerved up about that. Mark and I were tired, so we left shortly after the father and daughter dance. All the bridesmaids and other girls were dancing after that. This one girl sitting at the table was trying to force me to dance with her. WTF. That was our sign it was sign to go, ahaha. We stayed a while though.

The rest of the time in Vermont was great. We just relaxed a lot. That's something we don't do often together. I did not realize until our second trip how different Vermont is to Maine. I like to visit there, but I don't think I'd like to live there permanently. I do love how there are mountains EVERYWHERE though.

I found another place I might try and apply to tonight. I'm not entirely sure I even want to though. I feel much better about work after having two days off. I might have needed to just get away from everything. I feel refreshed about most things in my life at the moment. Who knows!

I need to find pants to wear to work tonight. I wore shorts to work this morning and I froze :/ gah! It's definitely not summer anymore.

They should've had directions. We printed a separate sheet that had the directions to the wedding itself and to the dance, along with accommodations.

I love mountains.<3

Where do you work? I don't think I ever caught that.

they did print out a map along with directions and addresses for the ceremony and reception. the map was terrible though. it also did not help we have never been in that area before

Ahh. I used to work at one, money sucked. And it's no fun cleaning up after someone else.

I guess it's good that you really only have to make one turn and head 20 miles south.

i work at one near the beach, so the money is not bad :] it gets me by while i finish up my certification to be a teacher.

i really thought it was going to take FOREVER to get in the right direction because it seemed like it took 30 minutes to get anywhere.

Yeah, I made easily $100 in tips on a Tuesday night during the Summer working at the hotel here... but the moment winter hits, this town is DEAD so there goes all the money I could've made.

Haha, weddings! Its where all sorts come out to play. Too much alcohol and a merry good time. Why is it whenever we have to frock up, we loathe things about ourselves?

Ryc: I'm hoping that's the way to go, I have a long way to go but I'll get there in the end.

I herd Vermont is beautiful! A friend went years ago. Idk if I could do with all the mountains though. I'd probably get mountain sick lol.

Glad you made it to the wedding.
I went to a wedding like that, it was snowing for one, and two it was in the middle of no where! Why do people do that??
