I HATE!!! (amazon or USPS???)

06/24/2009

heart designheart design
the worlds wide open.

Oh man, I am fuming. I just... GOD!

All right, so I orderd 11 books, 1 USB cord and the Sims 3 from amazon. Why from amazon (not counting the books) you ask? Well cause the game cost 40 bucks brand new instead of 50 from in-store walmart. That is why.

I placed my order on June 16th. I don't remember the time it was like 8pm, so the first business day they really had the order was the 17th. My game and USB cord 'supposedly' shipped the 19th, and the books just shipped yesterday. Everything was in stock. Oh and I used the Free-Super-Saving-Shipping as I have not had problems with it in the past.

Now, they were shipped USPS. All right, perfectly fine. I get a tracking number for each order. I know that the USPS tracking sucks... and is more delivery confirmation than anything else. But still, I have faith and check both amazon and USPS religiously since the 19th to see about my package.

I wait every single day that we get mail. No package Monday. Didn't think it would be here. No package Tuesday. No package today. It has NEVER taken this long for me to get stuff from amazon even when I use the free shipping. EVER!!! But still, yesterday my first package had a mysterious "Arrival Scan". There is no location of said arrival scan, just an arrival scan at 3:57pm yesterday (or 3:07pm, I don't remember which).

That is one reason why I thought I would get it today. Thought that meant it was at the post office. GUESS NOT! But still, I am just thought to myself. All right, well maybe tomorrow then. Maybe tomorrow.

Still, being the naive idiot I am. I go online, check amazon's tracking, no update. I check USPS's tracking, and OH! WHAT IS THIS!

" Label/Receipt Number: 9102 9010 0130 1069 2650 96
Class: Package Services
Service(s): Delivery Confirmation™
Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on June 24, 2009 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later."

And yes that is the tracking number amazon gave me. So now I am thinking. WTF!! Amazon said my package was sent out the 19th, and now I am seeing that USPS WAS JUST NOTIFIED! At first I thought it was just USPS and their freaking slow shipping, you know, maybe it got lost. BUT NOW IT SEEMS LIKE IT COULD BE AMAZON'S FAULT TOO.... GRRR!

I mean, there is a date in the description. And this is the first day anything has even come up with on USPS's site. According to amazon my first package has been 'in transit' since the 19th. According to USPS it has not even been shipped out. There is still the mysterious "ARRIVAL SCAN" that I have no idea what the freak that means. And then, there is USPS's website listing that.

Oh, and my estimated delivery date is the 29th, so don't worry. Amazon covered their asses their for the time being. But I view, if USPS is right, Amazon is clearly lying. It lied when the shipment went out, lied when it was in transit, if USPS is right. I just want to know what the hell is going on with my package.

So being the angry customer I am, I emailed Amazon.... AGAIN! I emailed them yesterday because my books still had not been sent out. So now, I get to wait for a reply from Amazon and hopefully they can explain this to me.

Either way, I am pissed. Someone is lying, and I want my freaking game! I should have just paid the extra 5 dollars and went through newegg. I would have had my game by name in their guaranteed 3-day shipping. But still, this is just ridiculous. I officialy hate either amazon or USPS...which is found to be at fault.
