First of all, thank you everyone for the welcome back notes! I haven't gotten to return ANYONE'S notes yet, but, I'll definetely be doing so later.
Alex woke up up at 4am today. NOT a time I like to start my day at! I was able to pull up Elmo's Adventures in Grouchland on Netflix and let him watch it in my bed and buy up a little bit of time though! Hah. Lazy Mommy, I know. But.....4am? Really? lol In my defense, I DID get him some breakfast, which he ALSO got to eat in my bed...and he got all over my new bedset. Ughh! Good thing I was planning on washing sheets today anyways.
The boyfriend is meeting the 'rents today. I'm kinda nervous....oddly enough, not about his behaivor, but theirs. Haha. He's SUCH a good man...honestly, there are days I wake up and have to pinch myself to to believe that it's all real. I don't know how I got so damn lucky to have him in my life..but whatever it was that I did, I'm glad! lol. My stepsister is graduating, and I'll be taking him to the graduation party (annd at her suggestion, at that! lol). Kinda excited.
Alex and Gabby are being little crazy people already today. I'd LOVEE to know what goes through their minds sometimes. Gabby's being SUCH a whiney diva this morning. She wakes up so early, but she's most definetely NOT a morning person! lol Like Mother, Like Daughter, huh? Ah well.
I don't want to start the day. I want to lay here in bed and soak up the morning. I really don't like mornings...Grr! Why oh why do my children have to be such morning people? Alex and Gabby are up at the asscrack of dawn (or before!) every day....Drives me batty. Jude, however, is my mini - he's more then happy to sleep til 9-10 every morning. Maybe that's why he's the most cheerful of the three...lol
Anyways....I guess it is time to go start the day, need to get a workout in, shower, and get laundry in the wash before The Boyfriend comes over...The plan is for hiim to get here when the kidgets are napping, so we can get some "couple" time in (hehe) and he can take a nap before meeting the 'rents. Wooo! lol
ETA - I went to return comments and the MASS majority of people who commented don't let "new members" read their diary. I don't know at what point people cease to be considered "new members" but I'm pretty damn bummed about it - several of you I remember well and would LOVE to catch up with!!! So, if by any chance you're reading this, and I didn't comment you back, check your settings - I tried, promise! lol
