I had such a great weekend going back to Boston to see some friends. Me and James stayed at my mum's on Saturday night and then spent all day on Sunday playing Playstation games and watching the wrestling round at our friend's house....until 4am! lol. It was a long day and a long night and I'm still paying for it! lol. I'm so tired and I have a massive headache. I was at work today and not on my department, again. I have tomorrow off work, thank god - I need a day off to recover from my weekend off! lol.
The diet also went out the window at the weekend! One chinese meal, a burger takeaway, snacks and sweets and a McDonald's on the way home! What a binge! lol. Well, it was only for a weekend and we couldn't really cook our own food when we're not at home. lol. So today I was back on the soup at lunch today. I think my big headache is due to the crap I ate over the weekend. I had a lot of sugary food and no vegetables, so I just feel rubbish.
As I said before I didn't have a great day at work again. I wasn't on my department and it's driving me insane - there's so much I want to do down there and I hate it. Our manager has been calling people down into the office to discuss the cut in hours that we have to go through at work. Basically they have to lose 20 hours worth of staff and they're hoping to talk to everyone about it and get some voluteers who want to cut the number of hours they work. I currently work 40 hours a week and to lose a day would take me down to 32 hours - losing a day of work would be great but I'm not sure I can afford to lose the money that comes with it. I really want to lose a day but I'm afraid James won't see it as a very good idea. I have some suggestions to put forward to him about it though, I reckon that having one more day off work would give me more time to look for a new job and make me more available for any interviews. I also want us to move into a house this year as we've outgrown the flat we're currently in, having an extra day off work might give us more time to search and view them. I don't know, it's a long shot but I'll give it a try.
My headache has got worse, I feel dizzy. I should go. |
