I need to find some time to write a proper entry, because I've been rather absent this month, haven't I? lol.
I've been busy going to gigs and traveling to London, still! It's all been so busy, so on my weekends off I like to just do nothing and even then we go shopping and get some bits and bobs for our holiday. With only 3 months and 2 weeks left to go I think it's okay to start getting some supplies together! It's all very exciting.
I came up with a great idea today! We're struggling about what to do with our photos as I don't want to get an 8gb SD card for my camera and keep all the photos on it just in case we lose it or something bad happens to it. We're going to buy more 1gb or 2gb SD cards for the camera so we can have pretty much one card on each day - that way we're working day by day and nothing gets lost. We're unlikely to lose these cards as I feel I'm pretty organized and we'll have a safe in our room. We did toy with the idea of getting a cheap laptop to take over there and dump the photos on it every evening, but I think a variety of SD cards is a better idea. And to make the cards last longer we're going to get a couple of waterproof disposable cameras for the days when we're in waterparks - I think we'd get some really great photos and when we get them developed back home you can choose to have them in digital format on a CD anyway. It'll be awesome! And the waterproof disposables we need are only £8.80 and buy one get one free in Boots! Result! They're on my shopping list. ♥
