you call me beautiful. | 02/15/2009 |
James is watching the football, we tagged so I could use the computer. Just thought I'd steal a moment to tell you about my Valentine's Day. I was working until 6pm and James met me from work, we went for a huge blowout meal which I need to recover from at the gym this week! lol. After that we went to the cinema to see the Disney movie called 'Bolt' which we both really enjoyed. I was restless all night though for one reason, Grant. I was determined not to text him, it was Valentine's and I had plans with James. I'd gone all day at work without a peep from Grant and not a single message was sent to him by me, until late at night. At around half ten in the evening I received a message from Grant saying "happy valentines beautiful x x x x" - I was over the moon! So I texted him back with "Happy Valentine's Grant. Have a good night! xxxx". I didn't hear anything more from him, I expected that that was all we needed to say to each other on that specific day. I woke this morning to find another text from Grant sent at around 3am, saying something along the lines of he was sorry it was late but he couldn't get me out of his head all night and it was crazy because he didn't know me, but wanted to say hi anyways. This made more deliriously happy! It's disgusting really. I waited half of the day today before I replied to that just because I could tell he'd had a late night and wanted to be sure he'd be awake first. lol. It was a cool casual text, I didn't want to blurt out anything I felt about him so I just said I had got his message and just wanted to say hi, similar wording to what he used.
Turns out that poor ol' Grant didn't send either of those messages from his phone last night, it was his friends. They sent out texts to all the girls on his contact list and one of them sent me that personalised 'don't even know you' text because Grant had told him all about me. So he says. He'll be quite clearly watching the rugby and the football this afternoon so his text replies are a bit sporadic. But James has the same football match on the TV so I'll know when it's half time and full time - that's when Grant is most likely to reply. I told Grant I felt pretty foolish, he didn't know why I did so I said it was because I believed it was him who had sent those messages. Yes I'm such a fool, but for a while I was concerned about having to reveal that I actually have a boyfriend because if Grant did mean those things then that would be where it would start to get out of control.
What a drama! It will blow up in my face, I just don't know when. ♥ |
