Betcha thought I gave up on ya, eh? Nah, my internet just hated me for a while and I couldn't post.

Yesterday was pretty bad. I didn't do my AMA (Advanced Math Analysis, basically a class between Precalculus and Calculus which was completely invented just to piss me off) homework. This is really bad because I need to impress Mrs. Knick, the teacher, since I want to take the Linear Algebra class she's offering to me. If she thinks I'm not "up to the task" she could just say no.

English sucked because we had a test on The Scarlet Letter. I was ready in that I had read the book, but I had no time to analyze it to any deep degree. It was a 16-question short answer test (apparently a short-answer test for her means one paragraph each) where we answered 10 and omitted the rest. I skipped questions like "explain the symbolism..." etc. and only answered the more basic questions. Eh, doesn't matter; they were all worth the same.

Latin sucked because I'm still behind. And I used that class to prepare for APUSH.

In APUSH I took a huge test on the culture chapters we had gone over. They basically spanned from 1790 to 1860. Uhg. I ended up getting an 89%, missing eight. For Mr. Touart, we can copy the questions we missed for Bonus Point corrections. For every four questions we copy we get one bonus point added. So, my final grade for the test is a somewhat disappointing 91%. However, I got a 100% on my DBQ (EXTREMELY rare and SUPER AWESOME grade from this teacher). That is, Document-Based Question where we cite from provided historical documents to support our points.

French...well, French never sucks. Too easy.

SCAEL sucked because math lost to Basset. Tunstall won overall, 4 out of 5 matches, but math lost 100 to 45. This means only ONE question from the entire night wasn't answered correctly. We got every question directed at us correct (except for one), while we got NONE of the toss-up buzzer questions. I was later told by some students that he "had Asperger's" but I believe, after asking la rana, he more likely had some form of savant syndrome or something. He was beyond fast--I couldn't have typed some of those questions into a calculator that fast!

I also got home VERY late, then had to help Slaw with her application that was due today (Friday the 5th), and THEN had to write an essay on Pearl's future for English. I presented it today; I think it went very well and didn't at all sound like it had been written the previous night.

Today was much better. I was prepared for AMA, prepared for English, didn't have Latin or APUSH, and aced my French quiz on lequel/celui. We had a 1-o'clock dismissal, and I relaxed at home.

SO glad that it's Friday (Saturday now. :*)
