begin.

My mood is the complete opposite from my last entry now! hahaha.

Number one: I GOT MY MACBOOK PROOOOOOO. It is glorious.

I'm quitting Food Lion for the school year. I put in my two-week notice today, so my last available day is Aug 7. Hilariously enough, I'm unavailable for the 1st and 2nd. I'm a bitch.

I'm getting two more paychecks. My last one will be tiiiiiny. Next week I'm only working like nine hours. :o That's okay though. I'll live.

Larry, my big-boss, complimented me today on my previous work. Work which made me miss Slaw's birthday party at Kelsey's where she and another close friend got a bit drunk and really high. I was very jealous of their ability to just run off and have fun without me.

Zane said I was the best bagger they had. Ironic that I'm leaving, but the compliment was very nice, all the same. In fact, about half of the staff is leaving for the school year. Most are either students, like me, or teachers, like my friend Shannon.

Better yet, today I got off four hours early. It sounds bad, but I don't need the money. Poor Rigsby had to do all of my hard work. I didn't have to clean the bathrooms or do the trash today. Yesssss.

In the personal world, I've been playing a lot of the Sims 3. I used to not like it because of how different it was, but I'm starting to appreciate it. I still think that the time my sim spends at work is out of balance, and the skills don't really match the profession. (I need Gardening, Fishing, and Mechanical for the Science career, but NO logic?!) I'm still having fun. And I'm still childish in that I make most of my sims gay males.

iTunes is a bother because I have to redo all of my music because my crappy PC won't backup correctly. Plus, most of my music is pirated, so I have to load it from files with names all wrong and my OCD compels me to fix it, song by song. I've spent over an hour and I have about a fourth of my library imported. Geez.

But it's all fun. I like how my Mac works, and setting it all up is nice. I really don't use iCal, Mail, or any of those types of apps, but I've already downloaded a Twitter one, and a few other nice little things. And I also ... um... got Photoshop CS5.

Also, I finally BEAT ROAD TRIP HELL YEAH. It's an old Japanese game for PS2. It's in English (some weird grammar sometimes), and very fun as an adventure/racing game. This is the first time I had the patience to beat it 100%. YESSSS

end.

lithium layouts.

When you make a new sim, it doesn't have a sexual preference. Only once you flirt (or do any other romantic action) with a specific gender does the sim lean one way or another. If you consistently do this with both genders, your sim will be more or less bisexual, which is VERY helpful for romance sims (though that was more of a strategy in TS2 when you had aspirations).

And townies can be gay too. If they are single, once you become "friends" you can flirt just like with a straight relationship.

It makes for some fun. And sexuality is very NOT set in stone, at least as far as PCCs go. When I went through a storyline phase I made a guy marry a bitchy girl and then go gay on her and have her catch him cheating. It was sooo fun.
