Login Problems
While fixing some bugs in the session system at Bloop, I inadvertently caused some login bugs. These have now been resolved. If you are having issues, you can email support@bloopdiary.com.
Entry Order
Entries are now ordered by date. I haven't added the option to adjust this ordering yet, but I figure this makes more sense for 99% of people.
Bloop Mobile
Bloop Mobile has progressed further. If you are logged in, you can see your faves, read your comments, and read people's frontpages. I still need to allow for entry viewing, commenting, conversing and messaging.
Note that the WWW and M domain share the same cookies, so if you're logged in on one, then you'll be logged in on the other. You can switch between them as you please.
Auto Lock Proposal
Some of you like to stay logged in on your home computers or phone, the downside to this is that if someone comes across the site they'll be able to access your diary. We already have an autolocking feature installed, but I'd like to adjust it slightly.
Entering a password on a phone is often frustrating if you have a complicated or long password, so I want to introduce a four digit PIN system that unlocks a diary if you're already logged in.
Example of usage:
1. You log in to your diary on your phone, and click 'stay logged in'.
2. You leave your phone on the table, and a friend comes in and picks it up.
3. They open up your browser and go to bloopdiary.com.
4. Instead of seeing your name, they say 'account locked, please enter PIN'.
5. Friend doesn't know the PIN, so your privacy is protected.
