Sometimes I think it would be easier to just pack everything I need. And get into my car and drive away. As far as possible. I wish it were different, but I'm starting to believe there's nobody in the world I can depend on. Part of that is my fault, I'm sort of a flaky person, I know I bail on plans a lot, and that pushes people away. But the people you would think I can always count on, my family, I can't. My mom was the final straw today. She's always been a little different, but this crossed a line.
I have a plan, almost. I've signed up for classes for summer and fall semesters. I'll be getting my CENA certification and doing my phlebotomy internship, two things I can take anywhere and work. I'll also have my associates degree. After that I'm gone. I don't know where I"m going, but I know I wont come back, because this place is no longer home to me. |
