I Am a Stranger on Earth

10/23/2014

I've lived in different parts of this earth, and no where do I feel like I'm home.  Apparently, I am not the only one who has felt this way.  I've read accounts of people who also has felt this way, such as accounts of people who are geniuses and people who with autism feel this way, such as those in the book Anthropology on Mars.  Even King David (a key figure in Christianity, Islam, and Judaism) felt this way.

"I am a stranger on earth."  Psalm 119:19

If you remember the movie Gattaca, the character played by Ethan Hawke in the movie feels this way.

People with depression also seems to have a tendency to feel this way.  Have you ever felt this way, like you don't feel like home anywhere on earth?

I tend to be the other way around. Once I have been somewhere for a couple of days or so, it feels like home
