You were so goofy, so funny
You always made me laugh
You told me I was your best friend
The best friend you could ever have
You loved your car so much
You’d always want to go for a drive
And then you’d call and ask
If I wanted to go for a little ride
Of course I would
We ran the roads
You were the one who made it fun
And we always had loads
But on that crazy Fourth of July night
You’re car was acting up
And wouldn’t drive right
A tumble and a roll and out you went
There went all our happy time spent
The car is ruined and totaled out
But I don’t understand how you flew out
My daddy said there was a real bad accident
On Ben Hamilton road
I never knew what he meant
He looked me straight in my eyes
And told me someone had been killed
My heart was thumping in my throat
And suddenly I was chilled
I didn’t want to know
But so much was running through my head
Then I heard the awful words
Pour from my daddy’s lips
“Tiffany is dead”
I screamed, I cried, I didn’t want to believe
I couldn’t take the hint that you were going to leave
Now all I have is pictures
And the loving memories
Of our friendship that will never seize
So from time to time
Look down on me
When I feel depressed and blue
Cause till the day I die
I will always love and remember you
