phone call
J: hi
K: hi. how are you?
J: I'm ok
K: just ok?
J: well, I could be great
(long pause)
J: um...um... so I'm nervous
K: why are you nervous?
J: well, see, um, So yesterday Bon Jovi announced his tour dats for next year. and um, I first looked at Boston but he wasnt playing here. So then um, I was like hmm Indiana? not playing there. Louisville. hmm yup, at the KFC yum center. hmm I would love to go but I wouldnt want to go alone. that wouldnt be fun. besides, I probably wouldn't be able to find my way. So I would want to take you. Now, before you say anything, I dont have to know till either Monday or Tuesday, I have to double check the date when they go on sale. so ummmm. ya
(through most of that, she was giggling)
K: I will let you know but will probably need a reminder.
J: like in general? (no idea what I was thinking when said that lol)
K: aaah, sure.
J: and dont use money as an excuse. I want to go and I am going to buy your ticket. you can buy dinners or what ever, but I want to go so I'm buying the tickets.
K: ok *with a grin*
I felt like a 13 yr old boy asking a girl out on a date lol butterflies and all
so she didnt say "no" or she didnt say "well, we'll see" and she was giggling so my guess is she is going to talk it over again with that guy... and talk to her work, see if she can get the time off but there shouldnt be a problem.
Plus, I told her that I miss Moagie. her dog and I really do. Moagie is cute and loves me and loves to play tug-a-war and fetch.
So I'm crossing my fingers, my toes and anything else I can cross and who knows, that weekend, could be one of the best weekends of my life
You know...I left my heart in Indiana |
