Theme: Write a letter to your childhood bully. Tell them how you feel and what kind of person you are today.
Sup. Hope you're doing well.
You see, the fundamental problem with this prompt is that these bullies don't really need any of that information about you. I understand that this letter isn't literally meant to be sent to them, but my point still stands I think. At the age of 30, I'm so far beyond any kind of bullying I got in my childhood. I don't blame the bullies who were acting out for one reason or another, and I'm certainly not reeling from any schoolyard bullying at my age, after all that I've accomplished. I have an established career now, I have a house, a wife, two dogs, a kid, a car, bills to pay. I haven't though about being bullied in 10+ years. On the other hand, I also don't feel like it's right to put a long winded tale of success in a childhood bully's face as a passive aggressive measure to smear them and make them feel bad for failing whatever intent they set out to do by bullying in the first place.
Just a few thoughts.
