and yes. I'm looking forward to being in that place. Being dependent (especially financially dependent) on another person is terrifying and unacceptable (for me.)
Unfortunately that kind of thing happens a lot in higher education within the settings of universities who boast diversity in education. It's sad, hypocritical, and wrong.
I will never let anyone tell me what kind of *anything* I should be, let alone what kind of man I should be. lofl Some people just insist that their way is best and I don't know why.
For a long time I knew that what I was being told was a huge problem for me, like what you're saying about being told what a woman was. I don't buy into social nomenclature of what things are and aren't. I encourage people to find those definitions for themselves. Good work. =]
