Puffed Wheat and Pepsi

06/13/2014

Today has been a little better with Tucker. I got up really late, so I was figuring that I would find out that Mr. Tucker did a poopsie, but, to my surprise, there was nothing in his kennel but him and his blanket. Yay. You know how complacent your life has become when you are excited that you didn't find any poop in your dog's crate.

I took him for a long walk outside, where he pee'd and then he wanted to jump up on my leg and play for a little bit. It's a good thing that he has such a good disposition and a cute face, lol. I call him "puffy fat-face" because he has a puffball where his face/head should be.

Last night Kev got home from work and then he took me up to East Corinth to get my meds filled. Assholes wouldn't fill my Ambien, it had only been 29 days, not 30. Ugh. I am totally addicted to the stuff, CANNOT sleep without the stuff. I felt like crying. But, there isn't much you can do about it, so I went over to the 'Family Dollar' and got a bottle of Unisom.

It took 3 of those suckers to let me sleep last night. And consequently, that is why I slept so late. Can't go today to pick up the meds, so we will have to go tomorrow afternoon or Sunday morning. I can't go myself, we are down to one car, and Kev works one hour away from here. Ugh.

So, anyway, I think that when he leaves for work today, I am going to go into the bedroom and finish reading 'The Cradle Will Fall'. It's a book that I have read a few times, but I am slowly working my way through all of the books on my shelves again. I have three over-stuffed bookshelves, so it's gonna be a project that will keep me busy for a little while.

I think that I want to take a beading class. Learn to make jewelry. Maybe it will have a calming effect on me, kinda like crocheting does. But again, can't do anything until I get a second vehicle.

I also got approved for Vocational Rehabilitation. Hopefully they will be able to help me take the PSS coursework that I need for the certificate. They are the ones that helped me to take the CNA course in 2007. I have to remember to give my worker a call later today.

Tootles...
