Cam is home, finally!

Today was so damned long. It started with the discharge meeting with his doctor and clinician at 11:00. Then I had to go to a meeting with regristration, and this dude led us down to the in-house school office - Cam will be attending school in the hospital on Mondays and Wednesdays. (The doctor wanted him to go every day, but we just do not have the gas to be going back and forth to Bangor 10 times a week.)

And then I had a meeting with the financial office. When I found out the amount of the bill thus far, my jaw just about dropped to the floor. Holy shit. Holy shit. Holy shit. I have NO idea how we are going to pay for this. But, I need to let it go for right now, because it is just going to depress the hell out of me if I continue to think about it.

So, we took Cam to the grocery store and asked him what he wanted for dinner. He wanted me to make his favorite dinner - sausage/spinach loaf. We also got some chips and dip and some soda.

He seems to be glad to be home. We just made dinner, and we are watching Judge Judy.

I had to sneak out into the garage to have my first cigarette of the day. Boy was that good. (I told Kev that I wouldn't smoke in front of Cameron, even though Cam and I discussed it, and he knows.)

Anyway, fire is going and I need to feed the pups.
