The response

I emailed the adoptive mother, and asked her if she might want a picture of the birthfather.

"The adoption agency gave me a book about making a "lifestory" about Niklas and having any info is great! It's a special book just for him about where he comes from. So, I would love a picture of the birth father, for a special book that I am making just for Niklas. Also, could you maybe send me one of your parents and brother too, like maybe one with all 4 of you? I would really appreciate it."

This is why I love her, haha.
We both think the same way on a lot of things, and now I have to figure out when I'm going to contact his mother, and what I'm going to say.

Maybe you can just ask the birth fathers mother for a pic as they are making him a book so that when he's older he can know where he came from? Maybe ask for pics of them too? So they feel included?
