YAY John got a new job!

So John started his new job today actually doing something he really loves to do! See by trade and passion John is a heavy equipment operator, but what with the economy dropping and everything no ones been building anything hence the drop in construction jobs. Finally however after months of hoping that something would come along John found something. Of course you're first thought is "don't get excited it'll probably fall through" which is why we were shocked when John got a call telling him to be into work at 8am the next day. Of course it would be our luck that our car would decide to go on the fritz that very same day and we had to call my grandmother to meet us in town just so we could get to a part store safely. John thought he'd be able to change the part himself but since I have such a tiny car everything is so compact that it's much more complicated than usual so tomorrow we're taking it to the shop. In the meantime he's taking my grandmother to work in her jeep and then taking her jeep from there to work. Thankfully today and tomorrow should be the only days that he should have to do such a thing because the car will be in and out of the shop in one day! Anyway back to what I was saying, John now works for $10 an hour, under the table doing what he loves most, running heavy equipment and "playing in the mud" as he called it and which I didn't take literally until he came home in brown boots that are normally blue LOL Anyway, it's after midnight and I have to go to work in the morning too so I should probably get off of here even though I really don't want to. Blogging helps me calm down for some odd reason. I guess because I'm getting things off my chest without actually burdening people with my problems which I'm experiencing a lot of right now. But I'll talk more about that at another time...until then caio!
