My How Time Flies... Shock of all shockers first...I am NO LONGER with John! Let me try to give this story to you quickly as I can before I get caught using the computer. Five years ago when I was married to Todd we lived in a run down trailer park called T and W directly behind us lived a family of three...Steve, Sally and Thomas. One day this Thomas fellow comes swaggering up and asks for a cigarette I really didn't think much of it. During that time in my life I was an alcoholic so the next day I came straight in from school, went back to my bedroom and got completely wasted. When I walked out in the living room to ask my husband something there was Thomas sitting on my couch I looked him straight in the eye and said "what the fuck are you doing here?" LOL You would think that would have made him hate me...but not Thomas he saw me as a strong independent woman and wanted to know more about me. It is necessary for me to let you know that my husband and I had an open relationship meaning we dated other people. Anyway Thomas became a good friend and was over almost every day helping me with the house or just generally bullshitting, one day we got to talking and he confessed to me that he was badly addicted to meth and wanted off of it BADLY. At which point I offered to lock him in my house and DT him but only if he went by my rules, at first he declined my offer. A few days later however at about one in the morning I hear someone frantically beating at my front door, when I answered it was Thomas, he and his roommate had gotten into a fight and the roommate was off trying to find his gun to kill Thomas and he was begging me for sanctuary..well I've never been afraid of anything like that and Thomas was my friend so I opened my home to him and told his friend to FUCK OFF when he showed up looking for Thomas. It was that night that I started DTing Thomas off the meth. Only a couple days later I get yet another knock on my door only to find a mob of fifteen men in my yard claiming that Thomas had burglarized a nearby trailer and that they were there to forcibly evict him. Even though I knew Thomas was guilty, I also knew that what he had done had been the action of a man with a problem with drugs so I lied to the men and told them that on the night in question Thomas had been with me the entire time. After a very long argument, a phone call to the land lord who was out of town and fifteen disgruntled men being pissed at a woman winning Thomas was allowed to stay. Soon after that Thomas and I became closer than friends doing EVERYTHING together except having sex of any kind oral included aka all we did was make out a lot LOL. He just didn't seem to be that into me though and after nine months on a rocky road Thomas moved to Tallapoosa with his parents promising that I would hear from him again, which I never did. I searched him out for a few months but never found him and so I simply gave up hope. Four years later I turned to my myspace page and there he was in the list of people I may know in my area so quickly I friended him and sent him my phone number. But he wasn't the Thomas I had known and I was afraid never would be, he had relapsed during the four year seperation and had only JUST cleaned up again. Plus the years had changed the way he talked etc...but finally after months of talking on the phone only once in a while I finally saw him face to face again and this time the tables were turned and John and I desperately needed a place to stay. I thought Thomas was only returning a favor when he offered to let us stay with him in his basement apartment but he had an alternative motive...three days after moving in he confessed that for four years he had been working on getting his life back on track just so he could find me and tell me how in love he had been with me all those years ago...as it turns out the feeling in me was mutual but I had John to consider. But John and I went down hill quickly and when I found out that John had made a move on my mother that was the LAST STRAW...I ran John out of my life for good! Now Thomas and I are together and so far it has been the best move I've ever made! Thomas treats me better than I thought possible for a man and i am very happy! Anyway I would LOVE to tell you more and in the next entry I will give more details about how we ended up together and how we are fairing but for now it is getting dangerously close to time for my grandparents to return and I cannot get caught on their computer so until next time ciao and Blessed Be!
