 hopes destroyed
I swear today is NOT going well AT ALL!!! I actually almost completed this entry one time already, hit the wrong button and erased the whole damn thing!!! So I'm going to try this again, maybe if I hit the backup button enough I'll actually get to publish this one.
Now as I was saying before my original entry got deleted, I was hit with yet another crushing blow today in the form of an almost completely ruined wedding. I have been planning my marriage to John now for over a year. Already had the location reserved, the invitations (with location printed on them) ready to be mailed and the only thing that i still had to pay for was my dress and the judge both of which are already reserved. The wedding set for this coming November the 12th at 4:00 pm. But then John calls the location today to double check our reservation only to be informed that the park was completely destroyed by flood waters and will not re-open until the beginning of 2010. At first everything seemed completely hopeless and I have been bawling my eyes out all day over it. But then I found another gorgeous park with a reservation opening on the day I need, only problem? We're broke and the reservation costs $200 dollars for a single days use!!! How in the world am I supposed to come up with $200 dollars in time to get the reservation before someone swoops down and takes it from me? Needless to say my chances are grim, I'm just glad there is even a small bit of hope! Anyway I'm thoroughly depressed and I think I'm going to go veg in front of the play station for a while to get my mind off of all this! If I get any good news I'll blog it, but like I said before at this point the chances are slim to none! Caio and Blessed Be!
