Writing an entry checking to see if my profile icon changes. Those of you who have a Valentine, wishing you a great day with your Valentine. I gave up on that a long time ago after I left my husband of 27 years. Now I'm too set in my ways to ever let anyone near again. Really strange when someone who writes poetry doesn't believe in romance anymore. I can lead people to believe through poetry. Because poetry is the place where I can believe in romance.
I didn't write a poem for today but I did treat myself to a new next generation Yamaha Dolby Atmos Audio Video Receiver. I'm a home theater buff, I have 4K TV's. This new receiver will upscale 1080p to 2160p and play the audio with the newest technology. I ordered it through Amazon. Should be here by Tuesday. Happy Valentines Day to me. I gave myself my kind of diamonds. A great inspiration for another poem .. my kind of diamonds. Yes. NOTE: My ENTRY ICON will not change. Still has my picture.
EDIT: Did you know if you click "CONVERSE" instead of "REPLY" when replying to a note another diarist left you, it will show up on their latest entry. Very cool. You can do that right from your comment screen, instead of actually going to the diarist current entry. I put an RYN: in front of my reply so they'll know I'm returning a note. EXCELLENT BLOOP FEATURE! But must have a paid version I think for this feature.

That sounds like a nice theater system. That's a long time to be married. My folks were married 25 years, together 27 when my dad decided he no longer wanted to be married to my mom. They have both remarried and seem happier than they were when they were married to each other.
RYC I used to write here all the time but have slacked big time in the last few years. I"m trying to get back into but its hard for me. Most of the people I read and who read me are on my Facebook page. I guess this does give me a chance to give a more in-depth update vs just writing a status update. Nice to meet you too.
ryc: I remember your OD diary name; I think we were even friends on there. I went by "maasiai" and "son soleil" I started writing there in 2002 as well. When I discovered that OD was shutting down, I moved to Bloop.
I write more on Bloop than on PB. I like this community better.
ryn: thanks for your comment. I definitely am learning my lesson. Office politics can be pretty harrowing! Uhm, she has been talked to several times by my admin and by our Principal. I just think everyone is kind of scared of her. I'm about to write a new entry with more so hopefully you will see why I say I think my boss is a bit scared of her.
My diary still won't let me do anything to my front page or icon pic etc. I contact the owner and they said they are having some kind of problem with the sight ... updating it or some kind of thing. Was nice to get a reply from them. Cool.
Yes, I did have it turn off and then turned back on to see the "extra features" of beta. It hasn't done that everytime since I turned beta back on, but did it earlier. Don't think it is doing it now either. Maybe a fluke. I'll see what happens. Thanks so much, btw.
