The jogs are getting easier.

09/29/2016

I'm proud to say that I continued my routine again to walk/jog because I didn't do it yesterday. The distance wasn't as far, but I did do a lot more jogging than walking, so that's an improvement. I did a mile. I feel good and am in a better mood after the whole exhaustion goes away. I'd really like to see a physical difference though. It might just take some time. Or it could be the carbs I ate yesterday. So far, today though, I haven't had any. I'm hoping I can say the same at lunch time though. Dinner will definitely be healthy though. Roasted Salmon and mushrooms, red peppers and green beans. Mmm! I can't wait!

I think this weekend, I will try to run a route near the dog park. It has a sort of foresty scenery and runs along a creek, so it's pretty. I'm a bit worried about bringing Little Ann though because she'll most likely get distracted by all the dogs running by and in the fenced area. I'll give it a try though and if it doesn't work, then I'll just know not to bring her back, but I think if I keep her running, she might be fine. She's not vicious or anything, but she'd like to play with the other dogs and she's plays abit rough, being a great dane and all. She's got a rock solid build and she can plow into other dogs who aren't aware. Bruce is different. He knows how she plays and knows when to get out of the way, but even he gets plowed down sometimes. So, that's why we don't bring her to the dog park, but I'm hoping it won't be too much of a distraction that we can get a good run out of it. If it doesn't work out, then there's a track at a school I can possibly take her to. I've never seen any dogs there, but I've seen people jogging on it, after school is let out, so the weekend should be fine to use it. We'll see how Little Ann reacts to people running by and such.

My goal right now is to just lose some weight. I'm not trying for distance or speed. That should come naturally as my muscles become more accustomed to jogging and I'm not carrying as much weight around. It's going to be a lot of work, but I believe I can do it.

And now for some inspirational quotes:
