Is there a recent time in your life when you felt "old"?

Just about every day I feel old. For work I am a Duty Manager (line leader for Venue Cleaning and the Cafe also) at a Holiday Park. Think.... hi-de-hi. The majority of the staff (other than Management etc) is a LOT younger than myself. Well, I say a lot - anything between 10-15 years younger than me. It makes me feel old on a regular basis.

There's also the aches & pains, the fact that I need sleep nowadays. I can also "throw out my shoulder"... WTF?! Might as well invest in a zimmer frame and be done with it!

Then there's Bloop
I first joined Bloop when I was 13 years old... good lord. I'm now 33. Holy fuck!

I was 17 when I arrived on Bloop... And nothing makes me feel older than those entries.

I felt old when my children asked me what a tape was.
And when I had to explain that games I now play on the iPad originally came as an 8 disc set (Baldur's Gate, reprazent)
Generally having children is quite ageing, lmao

I'm 38 and my husband and I were just talking about "getting old"(hence my TOTW submission). He was complaining about his hand the other day and he had placed it in a wrist stabilizer(it's better now), all the while muttering about how this didn't used to happen when we were younger(we've been together since we were 23)

When I worked in Childcare, I was ALWAYS one of the oldest there, and my bosses were almost ALWAYS significantly younger than I. That, and there are conversations I remember I had with the school age children. I still remember the time when the kids asked if I had Google when I was a kid. When I told them that we only had dial-up internet that was super slow, they exclaimed. "WHAT DID YOU DOOOO???!!!" and were shocked when I said we played outside or with a Nintendo.(or DOS games, yo) The shocked looks on their faces were hysterical.
