welcome to my house

Hello Bloop!
My name is Lindsey. This is my space; my bloop space. I have always wanted to find an outlet to let some of my emotions be written down, this is it. I finally decided to go ahead and just do it. Within this first post, I am going to do just what the title says, give introductions into my life. How would you ever get to know me if I don't set the stage for you first?!

I am a child of God. There are many things I am certain of and being saved by His grace is one of them. For the majority of my life, I wasn't prepared to die. My parents never really opened up to me about God or Jesus or anything. We quit going to church when I was younger, so I never got any of the material I needed to understand God. My husband, Zach, saved me. We got married and he literally saves my life. He opened my eyes to everything, took me to church, and has been there for me through some of the toughest times of my life. This is a God thing right there. I am so thankful for Zach. Zach helped me make decisions on being baptized, so I was. Now, without a doubt, I KNOW I am a child of God. Period. Blessed.

Me; I am a fast talking, passionate, ambitious, sassy, motivated, type-A, 27 year old female. I am short, 5'1", but I carrying a BIG personality. I don't like being wrong in any given situation, but I can deal with constructive criticism. I love reality tv shows, especially if they are of Freeform. I love reading a good book. I love music. I play the clarinet and some piano. I am a music teacher. (more on that later)

I have a husband of 5 years, Zach. He is my rock, my soulmate. We met when we were really young, middle school age. I think we knew back then that we were meant for each other. Our love story isn't epic, but it is one for the books. I will share another time.

We are both music teachers in the public school system. He is the head band director and I am his assistant band director. Yes, I said that right & don't the titles fool you. We all know who really is in charge

This is the really reason why I live: I am a mother of two toddlers, ages 2 & 3. Abigail Grace, a.k.a. Abbey Grace, is three years old. She is the light of my life. God definitely knew what He was doing when he placed her with me. She is super independent & extra sassy most days. Your typical girly-girl, but she also loves being outside. My two year old, Nathaniel "Nate" Christian, is our little miracle baby. He was born 9 weeks early, but still managed to be so strong through his stay in the NICU. He is my laid back child. He is kind, sweet, loving, and he loves his cars and dinosaurs. He loves all people so unconditionally. That's what I love about my baby boy. People say that Abbey Grace is a mini-me and Nate is a mini-Zach. You can be the judge of that.

This is my life. These are my thoughts, feelings, and everyday struggles and stories. I love writing about them. I love sharing them. I hope that through this journey together we will learn something that is greater than ourselves. Until next time, but for now I leave you with a quote...

"I am blessed with everything I need. I am working hard towards everything I want. And most of all, I thank God and appreciate everything I have."

xoxo

Welcome, welcome! I've been here for several years (at least 14, a few different pages) and though I'm not here as often as I used to be, I still love this place. I hope you find a home here.
