Hmm. Where do I start?
Being a single mother is the hardest, most demanding job in the world. But it's also the most rewarding, because you get paid in hugs, kisses, and snuggles. And that is better than having a million bucks. You see, when you're a single mom, you come home from school or work every night dead tired and just wanting to crawl under a rock, then you open the door and your beautiful baby comes running or crawling up to you with a grin on their face in between the pureed carrots and applesauce with a sippy cup in hand, and grandma following behind to welcome you home and ask how your day was, and you pick your baby up and she wraps her little arms around you. And you stop and think "That deadbead dad of yours sure is missing out." Yeah. That makes all of your hardships worth it. |
