hungry4thin's Diary
by hungry4thin

previous entry: thin friend

one of the best motivations that exists

08/23/2015

Weight:138 (Fat)
Goal: 130 125 120....

One of the best motivation you can have is to see unflattering photographs of your body. A friend showed me some pictures she took at a party and a few pictures of me were tangled up with them. God. Cringe. I think the most disgusting thing is I could easily pass for someone ten or fifteen pounds heavier than my actual weight. I don't know why I look so much bigger than the numbers on the scale. Maybe it is regaining and losing weight, not being toned, being only 5'3, a portly body. I look like a fat beast. Well, new week, new start, fresh motivation. It almost makes me want to cry that I waste time walking, doing the elliptical and situps and I look like someone who eats corn chips all day and only moves to reach for the remote. Pig. Pig. Pig. Pig. I used to wonder why I don't have a boyfriend but I was in denial. I will get this weight off.

Your height and weight places you in a healthy weight range. It doesnt sound like you as overweight as you make yourself out to be. That being said, I understand the mental struggle with weight. Dont fool yourself into thinking that something as trivial as your weight is keeping you from having a boyfriend. When it comes down to it, right now your focus and priority is your weight. If you desire companionship, shift your focus. If you find that youd rather keep self improvement as your focus, continue on your path, but try to do it with more understanding and less severity towards yourself. Youre working hard towards a goal and sometimes it takes time for the results to show. Be patient. Oh and read You Are a Badass by Jen Sencero (i think?). Its a great read (or listen) and will help you reach your goal with positivity. Anyway. You dont have to listen to me. Just blabbering. This is your diary and your life! I wish you luck!

Positive mind = positive life.

Don't pay attention to that number on the scale. You are beautiful, you are amazing, and you should always have that in your mind. It's great to want to be healthy, but don't be disgusted by pictures of yourself. It's part of your journey. Hard work pays off! Keep your end goal in mind and do things every day to help you reach your goals.

Find a self development book or an audio and read a chapter a day, or listen to 10 minutes a day. It will help you change your mindset, and keep you motivated to keep going. You got this!
