They only had the one bed free at the inn so Lydia and I had to share, it wasn't such an issue because we have had to sleep together for the last two nights but it seemed a little different last night...
I decided to ask around town about the wizard and sell some items before we head to Ustengrav.
A woman called Ingrod the Younger has asked me to deliver a letter to Danica the next time I am in Whiterun. I have agreed to do it because I am sure I will go there again at some point.
As it turns out, the people of Markarth believe that the wizard Falion is sacrificing children. I will look in to this to make sure that it isn't the case.
I have spoken to Jarl Idgrod about the wizard and she seems to think he is innocent. I don't have any other leads but if I find any thing else I will continue to look in to it. The Jarl has also asked me to look in to the fire that burned down a house nearby, killing a woman and child. She said some of the towns folk believe that a man named Hrogger did it so he could take a woman called Alva as his lover. The woman and child who died were his wife and daughter. I will look in to it when I have time but for now, I need to get that horn for the Grey Beards.
Upon entering Ustengrav, we found that necromancers had already entered. We managed to kill them and carried on deeper inside.
We have made it quite far in and had to defeat a lot of draugr to get here. We have found a wall with another word of power on it. It's a new word and I have absorbed the power and used the dragon soul I absorbed yesterday to understand it. The word is "Feim" and it means fade. It allows me to become ethereal for a short period of time.
We have decided to camp here for the night and carry on in the morning. |
