After waking Lydia and I returned the sword to Amren. He was so happy he taught me a new shield technique.

I wanted to go and Get the bounty that we were given last night but Lydia said I really should go and see the Grey Beards. I was putting it off because I don't know what they want and even though I have gained some skill in combat, I don't think I am skilled enough to be the Dragonborn. Deep down, I know she is right though so I agreed and we left Whiterun and took a carrage to Iverstead.

After arriving in Iverstead, I can truly see how tall the mountain is. Climbing the 7000 steps is going to be a challenge in it's self. I overhear a man talking about climbing the 7000 steps to deliver some supplies to the Grey Beards but his knees are in bad shape so I offered to take the supplies up myself because I'm going up there any way.

The climb is hard. We have made it up about half way. We encountered several wolves and a frost troll but we managed to defeat them all. We have decided to set up camp here and carry on in the morning.
