I woke up with the head ache from hell. I won't drink like that for a while.

We have decided to return the Horn of Jergan Windcaller to the Greybeards. But instead of taking a carriage to Iverstead, we are going to walk there in the hopes of finding some adventure along the way.

We had to pass through Helgan which brought back some bad memories. It was full of bandits so Lydia and I had to fight our way through. It wasn't that difficult a battle because my combat skills are really improving.

Whilst walking I met a very sickly looking man. He said he was one of the Afflicted and told me of a shrine I could visit to learn more. He marked it on my map so if I am near by I will go and see what he means.

I have managed to tame a bear. I named him Berserker because he is furious. Hopefully he will be with me longer than Lavender was.

After arriving in Iverstead, a guard told me that someone has reformed the Dawnguard, an ancient order of vampire hunters. If I get the chance, I will see about joining them.

We have decided to wait until morning before we try and climb the mountain to High Hrothgar. The inn keeper told me that Berserker will have to sleep outside but he doesn't seem to mind.
