Arghhhh two nights in a row now... I've been having terrible headaches. It can either be from sitting on my ass & laptop loads the past few days, or it could be from dehydration. I don't really like any of those options, so I must fix them!!
I'm having some trouble with my housemate that lives above me. He doesn't have a shower, so he uses the one on my floor (that I was led to believe would be my own). He pees and leaves the seat up, which irritates me because I don't go and use his bathroom and leave the seat DOWN. But I mentioned it, and it hasn't happened again.
But today, he opened the CLOSED door while I was in the bathroom!!! I am reluctant to assume it's a difference in culture, because he doesn't open my ROOM door when it's closed, and the bathroom is a bigger issue!! Would he have still walked in if the shower was on? How can a closed door be an insignificant boundary?!
He did apologize, and I doubt it'll happen again but I hate him.
No, not because of the toilet seat or the walking-into-the-bathroom incident. But because he is scared of my cat.
Now, if that were the whole issue, and he had come to be and told me... that would have been fine. I would have watched the cat a bit more closely, and maybe slowly and eventually he'd realise that the cat is harmless. BUT he went behind me and straight to the landlord. I got an email yesterday saying "The cat willl have to stay in your room all the time. The cat seems to wonder and is scratching the doors and also Kingship upstairs is scared of the cat." BAM. No wiggle room. So... I hate him. I am not going to be friendly or share my tea with him anymore. He has forced me to keep my door shut at all times, let alone what he's reduced my cat's world to. My cat will be imprisoned in this tiny room for THREE MONTHS. So fuck him.
I do plan on keeping my cat sane. Tomorrow I am going to purchase a kitty leash so that I can take him outside, or even let him on the flat roof outside my window. I will let him out of my room when he is out, and make sure he is not 'biting doors', which he doesn't anyway. That way all the inconsiderate assholes are happy, and I don't get into more shit that isn't my fault.
I realise I may be insensitive to his fears blah blah, but he didn't stop and consider mine or the cat's so fuck him. And the landlord.... his doors, really?! He didn't pay shit for his doors, the locks are falling apart and the house itself is a bit of a dump, he doesn't even live here himself, so fuck him too.
Arghhhhh perhaps headaches from stress, or anger?! |
