It doesn't work when you scroll down, it moves down the page and blocks it. I'm in chrome, btw.

I'm not really one to complain, but this task bar and my iPhone aren't really seeing eye to eye. It drops down automatically, it's in the way at the moment. I realize there is a mobile version of bloop, but I like the regular site better than I like the mobile site.

It's still being a pain, but now only when I comment.
I haven't tried it on my iPad, I'll let you know if it works better on there.

It works beautifully on the iPad, so it's just the iPhone that doesn't agree with it.
The site is looking great, Steve. Keep up the good work, I can wait to see the future of bloop.

I found on my phone that it didn't scroll when zoomed in, but scrolled fine when not zoomed in (non-iphone)

and i'm all for changes.. again i love the changes.. and like i said on my personal.. maybe making this diary a resource/artfolio isn't such a bad idea .. and then when i learn the new tweaks for it.. i can start my layouts again ..

Other than the mobile and layout tweaks, I really like the new car at the top. I like having the sidebar, but I don't think it'll be annoying to have it gone with everything on top.

I'm not a fan at all. I like the side menu, and prefer the old taskbar. I think we should be able to vote on the changes on here, instead of just having everything changed.

I understand your frustration, and I do try to open changes up for votes where possible. However, in the upcoming design for Bloop, the side bar is no longer a part of the navigation. The taskbar will essentially take its place. The best thing I can recommend right now is that any input you have is valuable to me. If you don't like it, there isn't much I can really do about that, but if you have suggestions as to how to make it better, then that's something I can work with.

When it brings the drop down menu for updated faves, it should go to the front page, not most recent entry.

Oh, and it altered the size of my picture in my comment layout. How do I need to change the layout code to fix that ?

Look at your comment code:

The comma needs to be changed to a semi colon.

Working pretty good for me! Was a bit weirded out at first, but it's not hard to figure out, which is a GREAT thing when you change a website! LOL.

It's nice. =) The layout is a bit awkward though - the profile picture is tall and it makes the entire height of the taskbar taller than (I think) it should be, because it makes the tabs look a bit short and out of place. I think reducing the height of the profile pic on the left and reducing the taskbar's height overall would definitely improve it. I know facebook is used as a basis for everything nowadays, but with the facebook taskbar, everything is vertically centred and padded out appropriately and it is seamless to me, whereas the taskbar feels a bit big and awkward. These are just cosmetic things though, and it works perfectly as it should. =)

Hahaha my frontpage layout has gone funky. But that's back when I was relatively not-very-good at coding. I've improved much since then. xD So I'll fix it. xD

I think so - the little orange square with the number in it next to "Messages". xD You know, I didn't even realise at first - I looked up and thought, oh, a notification, better click it OH WOW A BLOOP NOTIFICATION! xD

Oh, I don't know if you noticed, but on the actual title of the tab, it will show a counter like (1) or however many notifications there are, so you can see it even if you're not actually on the tab.

Hehe love it!! Also, just finished fixing my frontpage. xD With making my own website I had to learn all the new valid HTML and do away with the old <br> and <center> tags. Comment layout is next!!

We might be able to help with that. One thing that Teresa recognised is when you specify width and height, you have to specify the unit. For example, width: 512 becomes width:512px

Yes, yo - I noticed it. It's rather big.

I feel quite disappointed that my diary hasn't turned 'a bit odd' - it looks the same as it always did! I was hoping it might change colour and turn upside down or something.

That always happens if you edit an entry and then restore from draft. It's been happening for years, so probably unrelated to new taskbar!

It was probably dated that way when you wrote it, and you just didn't notice. There is a bug when you're writing an entry and you restore a session. Happened to me the other day too!

I'm having a few issues with the task bar, instead of remaining at the top of my web browser if I scroll down the task bar comes down so sometimes it is literally in the middle of my screen.

Also on my phone when the options come down you can only see some of the options as some are off the screen, but when you drag on the screen the menu closes so you can't reach the options at the bottom. It is doing it on my ipod and blackberry, so I'm pretty sure it isn't my settings.

My frontpage looks funny. I tried the px thing Lithium suggested but it didn't work, though I might have done it wrong. I used a basic layout created by someone else and customized it myself, and I am no HTML expert. Could someone help me please? I'm on my phone, but not on the mobile site, so it's harder for me to re-work my coding. Thanks!

I like the top bar, but I think I also need to change a color in my layouts because I can't read the words on it on my frontpage or entries.

I am having issues with the task at on my iPhone. When I zoom in to see the words better and write in this comment box, the taskbar layers itself vertically instead of horizontally. When I zoom out it is normal again but makes it hard to 'click' an option in the settings menu as you normally zoom in to click the settings. Not the mobile version btw. Hope this was descriptive enough. Btw, good work on updating and maintaining the site all these years. Keep it up.
