Hello Bloopers,
Welcome back the Doc to Bloop Staff. He's been missing in action for a while, but has decided to come back to us to help out. I for one am glad to have him back.
If you have any technical issues, you can go to the Doc and he will discuss them with you.

Onwards to bug fixes:
* The system flush has been scheduled to run every 5 minutes. I have been running this manually and forgot to do it for a few days. The system flush keeps the system clean, manages statistics, awards points to people that comment on new diaries, and manages Xtra subscriptions when they expire.
* System performance. After lots of monitoring, I have managed to improve the system performance considerably. I found a few bottle necks, some of which were caused by the instant messaging system on the taskbar.
On that note, I'm work on Bloop version 3. The code name for this version is Bloop LOVE - or Bloop <3. It's going to take time, but I have lots of time on my hands right now. One improvement that may scare some of you at first is the removal of the side bar.

Aversion to change, NOOOO! Can't there be an option whether or not you want your sidebar removed? 
"may scare some of you at first" yeah i'm not such a fan of change and i think it's going to bother me. i'll be scared "at first" but will be annoyed all around. hmph. i like my sidebar. it's like the only thing i use. hmph. i vote no. optional sidebar, please?
interesting to see how this plays out w/o the sidebar...
