This article talks about what BloopPoints are and how you can use them to purchase BloopPlus.
What are BloopPoints? How can I get them? What are they for?
BloopPoints are basically a form of currency. You can use them to purchase BloopPlus. You can earn points by commenting people's first entries (thus making Bloop a more friendly and welcoming place!), winning at trivia, and from various special Bloop events and competitions that are occasionally held.
What is BloopPlus?
BloopPlus is an upgraded form of a Bloop account with some added features. It is better than the standard account, but not as good as BloopXtra. To see a comparison between the standard account, BloopPlus and BloopXtra, click
here. To
subscribe to BloopPlus, you need BloopPoints.
Where do I go to see how many points I have?
You can view your
BloopPoints balance by going to Manage my diary and clicking on the
Subscriptions tab.
I want to give my BloopPoints to a friend. How do I do that?
To give BloopPoints to another person on Bloop, go to your message inbox and click Compose Message, and type their diary name in the 'To' field. Beneath the 'Subject' field, you'll notice a box that says 'Attach points to this message?'. (Your total points balance is displayed after the 'out of' text.) Just type the number of points you want to send them, and hit 'Send'.
