Healthy No Bake Pumpkin Spice Bars

08/30/2015

I literally just started getting excited about fall TODAY and I was really craving something healthy...but pumpkin spice. About 90% of the recipes I looked at added brown sugar and I really wasn't wanting to ADD sugar! Let's keep it real folks...processed sugar just isn't good for you.

Then I made THESE!

They are SOOOOO good! Here's the recipe!

Ingredients:
8 Ounces of pitted whole dates
3/4 Cup of pepitas or pumpkin seeds
3/4 Cup of walnuts
3/4 Cup of almonds
1 Tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice (when I say 1 tablespoon, I mean one BIG tablespoon if you catch my drift)
2 Tablespoons of pumpkin puree
2 Tablespoons of maple syrup

Directions:
1) Mix all of the ingredients into a food processor and pulse until evertying is chopped and combined.
2) Add all of the ingredients onto a sheet of parchment paper in a bread pan, and flatten with a spatula
3) Cut into bars, squares, or bite sizes.
4) ENJOY!

Thanks for the note. I love pumpkin flavored stuff too. The recipe sounds really good and a lot healthier than most. The food pic made me want one. Lol. Take care
