Please feel free to check out my Etsy shop: Amused Creations (eco friendly accessories)
So one of my resolutions this year is to do more crafting for others. I realized that I'm more motivated if I know exactly who my stuff is going to instead of just posting on etsy.
That being said, I decided to also delve into a new hobby: embroidery. I've dabbled in it, but I decided to fully get into it this year. I embroidered three onesies for the baby I nanny for and two other onesies (one is still a work in progress) for my husband's co-workers 'due any day now' baby girl. I haven't washed these yet so I'm praying they don't fall apart in the wash. lol. I'm also wondering if I should do a backing to the newborn onesies because baby skin is so sensitive. I may suggest putting another onesie underneath also because they're really thin, so it would be warmer. I know the little girl I nanny for is 7 months and doesn't get irritated by anything.
Anyway, for the girl I nanny for, the flower and sugar skull are from Sublime Stitching's Flower Power and Dia De Los Muertos embroidery patterns. I traced a coloring page image I found doing a google image of the elephant. The newborn is getting the coloring google image of the whale and I'm working on a my little pony one as well. lol. It's addicting! My stitches could be a bit better, but I'm still a beginner. Oh, and I'm sorry the pic is blurry. I don't have an SD plug-in on my laptop and I also don't feel like plugging in the printer and getting complicated! lol. I seriously hope these do well in the wash.
